Gators Guns Texas sells a wide range of new and used firearms, including handguns, rifles, ammo, suppressors, and accessories.

We most certainly do! We are your headquarters for buying, selling, trading, and consigning Gun's, Gold, Silver, Coins, and Jewelry. 

Gators Guns Texas accepts various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

Gators Guns Texas wants your FFL transfer experience to be affordable and easy. Unfortunately, too many gun shops make this process confusing and unnecessarily expensive. Our pricing and policies are straight forward and simple.

INCOMING TRANSFERS

The fee for incoming transfers is $45 per serial number. This includes any mandatory  background checks. If the firearm(s) are being shipped with other non-serialized parts, please request them to be sent directly to your home. If the purchase is from a dealer please request they include a copy of their FFL with the shipment, and if from a private party a copy of their state issued ID. Please note: Transfers picked up after 30 days will have an additional charge of $25 per item per 30 days. Items left more than 90 will be considered abandoned and become property of Gators Guns Texas FFL. NFA Items $140 per item.

OUTGOING TRANSFERS

The fee for outgoing transfers is $45 plus shipping per item. Firearms purchased from us that are going out for warranty repair are excluded from this fee. Firearms will only be shipped to another FFL.

When your firearm is delivered to us, we will contact you. All firearms must be entered into our inventory before transfer can take place. Because we receive so many packages each day, “transfer firearms” will be mixed in with our daily inventory shipments and could take up to a day to be processed, depending on the volume of all incoming shipments.

We will contact you when the firearm is ready for pickup. 

We also do background checks for private 1 to 1 sales, $45 each. 

REGULATIONS ON GUN PURCHASES

So if I come in and do a background check will I leave with my gun?

If you are a Texas LTC Holder you are already approved and there is no need for further background checks, and no waiting is required.

Otherwise, not necessarily, one of three things could happen, you get labeled as ‘Proceed’ in which you get the okay for us to turn the firearm over to you or you get a ‘Researching’, which can take anywhere from 5-20 min to come back with an answer of proceed/delayed. If you get ‘Delayed’ we will get a date you can come pick your gun up, unless we are told otherwise. Typically, 3 full business days after a delay.
